Tried boot polish, and the stuff in the bottle, also tried a blowtorch. Nothing gets a good a result IMO as masking off the bumpers and using acryllic bumper paint. It's nice and matt and it lasts forever. It's also a very good match to original stuff - bought some genuine g60 arches and where they meet the painted sills you can barely tell the difference.

thanks, I've read lambs/sheeps wool mits are the best

deffo... they hold contaminates within and not on the surface reducing the possibility of swirl/scratches

also two bucket method is a must

I notice you have the german number plates... awsome! have ou even been pulled over for them of fined?
i soo want them but apparently they are illegal, car looks good btw...

Never once been pulled or fined. But that's probably cause they're irish plates and I'm in Ireland.

haha! feel pretty stupid now! Not really bothered about german plates as you can probably tell.
