loose injector
« on: 16 August 2007, 18:54 »
one of my injectors is very loose on my 16v.
am i right in assuming that it's probably the seal thats gone and they can be replaced without buying a new injector?

cheers.

Once disconnected, should just pull out. Don't use excessive force if it is stuck. A gentle but positive force with a twist should bring it out. If not, give it a squirt with silicone spray. (Dashboard cleaner like back to black)

personally id order the seals from VAG they are better quality and fit than GSF items. also, get the upper & lower seals for the injectors
