any ideas guys? i just rang FK and they are saying send photos in etc? (don't understand why as i explained fairl simply the top part is poking out just like big dav's?)

i just ordered 195/50/15 for my orignal BBS alloys i just got for my golf mk2 gti 16v? i assumed they are orignal fitment and even seem to fit fine with these coilovers on? expect the fact i never heard of any of the tyres and one goes flat after 1 day lol

Got some yokohama parada 2's coming this way, hope they fit

a gap is fine, as long as its equal on both sides and you replaced the top mounts :)

They're only held in place with the weight of the car, so moving it about and turning the wheels etc will make them move around :)

oh so they do move up and down abit as a rock the car before (cos i never noticed)? only thing is i've been talking with FK in germany (very helpul) theres that guide some1 done on the internet where hes fitting coilovers on some forums and i followed that and they told me to leave out those rusty metal caps which where on it orignal, which i've done on one side  and not the other, toook it for a drive and only differnt is the gap is bigger with the rusty old cap on, so they've said leave it out ?

yes you should have left it out, its the upper spring cap.  Since coilovers will come with their own upper spring cap, you no longer need the old one.

You DO need it if you fit std suspension however!
