Dropping subframe

Hey guys, im having real trouble removing my downpipe. I've managed to get the 6 bolts undone that hold the downpipe to the manifold, and im now trying to remove it from the car. I've removed the 4 bolts holding the subframe up and dropped it as far down as i can I also removed the bolts at the bottom of the struts to see if that helped, but i cant get the subframe low enough to remove the downpipe. anyone got any ideas???

the steering rack will be holding it up you might have to undo it

pull the manifold out from the top?

I tried getting it out through the gap above the gearbox with no luck, as the gear linkages got in the way. Ill have a go at removing the steering rack and seeing if that gives me enough clearence. Now wheres my haynes manual.....

it comes out from the bottom m8y ! you shouldnt have to remove anythin there just a b!tch to get out you need to twist the downpipe as your pulling it down i cant remember exactly how they come out but it will be that way !
brute force and ignorance is the way m8y even with a ramp there sh!te to get off
