Noisy 16v Injectors

anybody else get this?

on cold mornings mine chatters away to itself for the guts of an hour before eventually quietening down

anyway of quietening them down from the word go?

its coming from the area so that all i could think off!

ive been told it could be belt noise

I don't think they will be noisey as they are not the electronic type with solenoids, well i've never seen noisey injectors on a k-jet.
What sort of noise?

its not a metallic noise, its a more ch ch ch noise coming from the front left corner

around the airbox and alternator

Belt noise  ???.
Take the drive belts off and run for a short time to check.

As said it wont be injectors.

run the engine and using a long screwdriver  put the tip on the rocker cover on the side of the noise then put your ear on the handle end and you'll hear it more clearly.

Also try the above on the alternator to listen for bearing wear.

MK1's idea is also good darts.
