Mk2 subframe

Can you remove the rear bracket on the subframe that holds the anti-roll bar bush, or is it part of the subframe?

pretty certain its all one unit, have a look on mine 2moro

yes you can when you undo theses bolts just make sure the jack is under and supporting the subframe
this is what it says in the haynes......

i suppose this is to stop other subframe mounting bolts being under stress! those other 2 bolts either side of the front struts etc.....

i can remember you can as i had to renew my front subframe as mine had cracked....

i let the garage do it as its a big job i can remember cleaning it up as it was from the scrappers and it didnt have the brackets on it so yes they do come off!!!!
