8v water pump
« on: 02 January 2007, 22:36 »
my water pump has started to leak on my 91 8v gti.

i am going to change it but noticed on etos that there are two part numbers listed.

both items look and are described the same but one is nearly £80 and the other nearly £30

does anyone know why they differ so much and which one is correct?

037 121 010 C  74,68 GBP  water pump with sealing washer, without pulley, thermostat and
adapter

or

026 121 010 CX 28,00 GBP water pump with sealing washer, without pulley, thermostat and
adapter

both are listed for PB engine.

any help guys?

The expensive one will be the complete pump. The cheaper one will be the impeller/pulley side of the pump only.

aye same here . my gsf one is 2 years old and still fine , there as good quality as the vw ones , not alot to them really so save yourself some cash and get one from them or eurocarpats.
