Can anyone tell me what a mk11 16v KR engine should idle at?? Rpm??
Mine seems a little high i might be wrong??

If you want to adjust it yourself, do you know about the hidden MFA function mentioned before?

goes like this...

Switch the ignition on, hold the MFA button in,
Switch the ignition off (still with MFA button held in),
Keep it held in, now start the engine.

This then enters you into the hidden MFA function :D

Scroll through the function and you will find your engine idle speed.

Use this display to adjust the idle maybe?

this isnt a real time display i didnt think  ??? i would go from the rev counter if fitted (should be) i think the idle speed is 850 +/- 50. dont quote me tho   :)

16v's are 950/1050rpm

i think vr6 is right . mine idles between 950 and 975 rpm
