Well if your a dab hand with a brake line flaring kit and have a propper pipe bender then its a DIY job. Personally i hate doing brake lines but if im skint i would do them myself.

AWD Mk2s have 239x10mm solid discs on the rear, identical to 1.3 Golf front discs ;)
