hangon im lost now, am i supposed to be sticking a vac pip on the metal thing on the airbox and then blanking off the other end?  shouldnt it connect to something?  i thought that pipe went to the inlet manifold?

that pipe he has blanked off is what connects to the spare hose thats blanked off on your 16v :)
