Hi,
I've got a completly standard 1999 1.8T AGU. I want to remap the ECU for the extra torque.
The question is are the remaps that are available are customised per car or is it generic remap thats flashed onto the ECU.
Was wondering whether to replace the DV (baileys or forge recirc), fit a milltek exhaust and upgrade wheels to A8 18" or any other components before the remap. If its a standard remap then it would'nt make a difference which order I did things in, but if its customised per car then obviously want to remap according to what extras have been fitted.
Which of the following would be recommended: REVO, APR, AMD, Superchips, Jabba?
Don't think cambelt has been replaced, car has only 43k on the clock, is it worth doing this as well?
Any help appreciated.
