Mine are in the window winder blanks and tbh it blocks a lot of the top end with your knees whilst driving! I think the best thing is to take out the standard mk2 dash speakers and make a bracket/plate and fit the tweeters to that. the top end should bounce of the windscreen and give you a nice soundstage up front it's what I intend to do.

Thanks for that mate thats the sort of thing that I couldnt of known untill I'd fitted them so you've saved me the trouble fitting them in the doors and then having to move them into the dash, cheers
