mk2 seats
« on: 07 April 2006, 13:21 »
Hey,

I want to change the seats for 2 reasons: so that I'm sitting a bit lower and I'm going to start making the interior shiny.  Has anyone got any suggestions what seats I can fit in?  Where does this leave me with the back seats because if I can help it I dont want to have to get them seperately apolstered to look the same?

you can put a full carrado interior in, but not the door cards.

The front seats are set a bit lower and just slot in bu the backs need a little bit of fiddling.  Nothing too hard though just a couple of brackets making up,

means you will sit lower and the seats will match

Hope this helps

to install a corrado rear bench you'll need to extend the pins where they lock onto the sides and weld in a few brackets for them to attach to the floor. You can fit them in without the welding, but it's not very secure for rear passengers when their seat slides away from under them under heavy braking!

fronts bolt straight in afaik

Don't think it would pass the m.o.t like that either.
