upgrading suspension

Im going to be upgrading the suspension soon so wanted to know what you guys recommend within a £200-300(max) budget to get the 2.0 a bit lower with better handling. At the moment when the wind blows the car wobbles its that soft

Hi, Adam.  How are the wheels, looking?

First off, it'd probably be best to uprate the front & rear Anti-roll bars.  This will tighten things up nicely.

But if you need that lower look, then ring/email Awesome. They're very helpful, know what they talking about & are currently offering 15% discount to uk-mkiv members. (Don't know about members on here?).

If you do want to lower, then I'd only recommend lowering by about 30mm - Any lower, & the driveshafts might start rubbing. (Unless you uprate the ARB's, of course!)

Also, don't forget a geometry adjustment when you finished all the suspension.

The wheels are looking good il get some pictures up after the exams but theres such a difference in grip even though there only slightly wider and lower profile. I would go for uprated ARB's but im trying to save for the next project so at the moment just the essentials and it really needs lowering. How is the camber adjusted on the mk4 as il be doing it myself? what setups have other mk4 owners got?
