Same problem MPH and oil temp with mine.

The oil temp is usually a disconnected wire. Look at the back of the engine compartment for a green wire with a black strip (as I recall) and slip it on to the connector (at least that solved my probs :))

OK, had the dash out and it seems like the vacuum hose was properly connected (although it wasn't that easy to see).  So I still have mpg, miles and mph as ---.  Any other ideas??

Thanks Gambit, do you know what route the vacuum tube takes in the engine bay?  I thought this tube was only used to calculate the MPG, does it control the 'Miles'  and 'Trip time' function on the MFA too?

I have tried to check again to see if there is a leak on the vacuum pipe where it is connected to the MFA.  The problem is can feel the tube with my fingers but don't know how to remove it from the MFA.  Don't want to pull it too hard in case of damaging something.  Anyone know how to disconnect this tube from the back of the MFA?
Any help with the previous message would be appreciated too.

the tube just slips over a nipple on the back of mfa i think, but it may be a bit tight cos obviously it needs to stay on once its on

mine reads the same and all hoses good. i think it is the gizmo on the gearbox that tells it engine speed.
