cheers rhyso
1) one yeah i meant the passenger has to hold theirs down and on my(drivers) side i just have to press it once.
2) its hard to explain and i checked the owners manual and the symbol isnt listed but im sure it comes on in the leon when you first turn it on but on the golf it stays on
I'l check me pipes at the weekend as i've seen that good guide in the cruise control fitting bit.
I've just realised i havent got that bit with the numbers on that should come with the keys so im screwed any ones else lost or not ben given this by previous owners?

Having checked it is in the same place as the glow plug symbol so is it different symbol for petrol engine management? When does yours come and and turn off?
Sorry for all the questions
