What do you do when......

.......You tried to take your £250 Alpine stereo out of the dash to find that sub preout cable was caught somewhere ripping it right out of the headunit completely. 

Don't suppose anyone has tried to reattach one of these before?

you could try taking it apart and resoldering the connections on
shouldn't be too hard if you can solder

i'll have to open it up and give it a try. I did try the other pre outs and i bearly get any sound from them as well. Looks like i may have buggered them all somehow

Alpine I believe will fix it for £50 (not including the postage of course)
This is the fee regardless of the problems so if anything else on the headunit is slightly playing up let them know and they will fix it

I was going to open it up and try fixing it myself but i'll call them first. If I open it, I doubt they will touch it after that

Spoke to Alpine today. They do fix stereos for a flat rate of £50. Excellent! Thanks for letting me know j_s
