Blown my Ignition Connection?
« on: 22 May 2006, 15:19 »
As I was installing my unit this weekend, all of a sudden I had no voltage available on my switched ignition wire...
I can't find a blown fuse, and I can't trace the cable back far enough into the loom to see where it is connected.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Ahhh...  Now I may be a bit pished and stoned and suffering the effects of lack of sleep from UK Technival, but I believe this could be to do with the difference of the Golf's stereo wiring from the ISO (International Standards Organisation) layout. Look it up somewhere, it's really really simple. Saves buying a £12 adaptor from Halford's in ignorance :embarassed:
