dash board

the little blue main beam light does not work so i took all the dash apart yesturday all that was left was the speedo cable so had a fill on the back to so if i could fill any think that i could change but couild not but on the top of the dash i have lots of varable resistors what are there for ??????????  so should i have taking the dash right out to change it ????

you need to remove the plastic fascia around all the dials/clocks etc, I.E. pull the climate control part out and there is a screw there, one in the corner of the unit, two above the clocks, and i cannot remember where else, then the clocks will tilt forward. Unclip the speedo cable and then lift them up and out. The resistors are for all of the LEDs and MFA AFAIK, so should just be a case of getting a new led and soldering it in. (although i think they might slide in, but don't quote me on that.)

not sure but mine doesn't work either, can't be arsed to take the clocks out though!!

has done yeah, as long as the actual lights up front work i don't think its a problem.....
