« on: 31 October 2005, 13:58 »
Hi All,

Just a quick question, my reverse lights are very intermitent and I would love to get them sorted.  Where abouts is the or is there a reverse switch and does anybody know common problems/how to fix it?

Thankyou

I have now tested the switch with a multimeter and that is OK. The fault is somewhere in the wiring.
Does anybody have any suggestions where there could be a brake? Looks like the earth goes straight to the battery but not sure where the rest goes.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Cheers
Jp

THe switch might seem to be ok when you have it out and you're testing it for continuity.  But it can still cause intermittent probs. Buy a new switch from Eurocarparts for £5.74 (inc vat).  The part number is 465550030
