I've got a book that has certain measurements, weights, lengths etc on various models up to mk3, I dont think the engine bay will be one of them though.  :undecided:

Is this what you want ?

Here's the dimensions of a Rallye

Track front           56.3in (1430mm)
Track rear            56.3in (1430mm)
Wheelbase          97in (2464mm)
Length               158.9in(4035mm)
Width                 66.9in(1700mm)
Height                55.1in(1400mm)
Unladen weight   2632lb(1195kg)

mk2 8 valve

Track front                    56in (1422mm)
Track rear                     56in (1422mm)
Wheelbase                    97in (2464mm)
Length                         157in(4988mm)
Width                           66in(1676mm)
Height                          55in(1397mm)
Unladen weight (3-door) 2026lb(920kg)
Unladen weight (5-door) 2070lb(940kg)

mk2 16v

Track front                    56in (1422mm)
Track rear                     56in (1422mm)
Wheelbase                    97in (2464mm)
Length                         157in(4988mm)
Width                           66in(1676mm)
Height                          54.9in(1395mm)
Unladen weight (3-door) 2114lb(960kg)
Unladen weight (5-door) 2158lb(980kg)

I'm such a geek ! There's no specific dimensions for the synchro so I'm guessing that they are the same as a mk2 but will probably be slightly heavier due to the 4 wheel drive.

If you need anything else give us a shout and I'll see if it's in my bible.
