Can these be retrofitted to a 2018 (well, October 2017)? If not, what about the automatic main beams?
Automatic main beam was replaced by dynamic light assist in the Mk7.5, which is what you can see with the headlight differences.
Both used/use a camera unit behind the mirror but the dynamic light assist uses a more advanced unit that is also used for lane assist PLUS different headlight units.
Seem to remember you can get the parts and can retrofit but you are talking thousands of pounds.
I'm sure when I looked at the configurator when I bought mine, either automatic main beams or dynamic assist were available.
I've seen someone fit a camera to work with this stuff. I might give it a go at some point
