I don’t particularly want lane assist. I just wanted Dynamic Light Assist. The order has gone through and my order form definitely states “Led headlights with Dynamic Light Assist “ so be interesting to see what turns up??

I have a 7 with lane assist and dynamic lights. It's brilliant, you won't be disappointed.

We've ordered the DLA, but I wonder if it avoids blinding oncoming cars or just minimises it... When manually controlling full beam at night, you can usually predict someone coming round a corner and dim the lights before they see you. Can it carry out that trick?

Can't say for the Golf but on my CC I never got flashed by oncoming cars. If the system thinks it can't cover the cars you're meeting it will dip your lights automatically.
