Bought a new housing for the main fuel pump from vw. The original size pump and casing has been discontinued and the new pump is a smaller diameter than the original. So, have new casing, had to buy a new smaller diameter pump
and have plonked them on the car.
However. The car is running fine at idle but starts to struggle after a little drive, back to idle and she runs fine then struggles on the move again.
Is a different in tank pump needed? I can't see why the new pump size, designed by vw would not work properly.
Anyone had similar issues?
