It will always come back I've had all mine refurbed and a couple are showing signs of it coming back! Going to get mine powder coated!

I had one replaced just before the 3 year warranty ran out, no questions asked, so hopefully you will have no problems.

Hope this is the case!

Mine are just starting to show tiny bits of corrosion. As the corrosion is caused by moisture getting underneath the finish I think I have 2 options to slow the process down.

Spray the affected area with good quality lacquer and polish/blend in

Use some 3m di-nick wrap.

ah the dreaded whiteworm... :cry:

Get them sorted before they grow into big cauliflower type creatures, this was the result of me leaving it on my old MK5



Went down the full powder coat route in the end.
Now - 2011 MK6 Golf GTI DSG 3dr, Deep Black, 19" RS4 alloys, H&R springs, rear LED's.

Previous - 2007 MK5 Golf GTI 3dr, Candy White

UPDATE

Well, the garage i bought from did say to me everything was covered so there sending the wheel off to there "wheel specialist guy" to fix it up.  The question i have is.. is it going to come back over time?  :whistle:  Obvioulsy will be getting a good bit of polish and wax on once "fixed"  :rolleyes:
