Noise
Broader spread of power
5 cyl cons:
Weight
economy and emissions (at manufacturer published figures and laboratory test level; maybe not in the real world so much, but this has a big bearing on things at factory level where they're under pressure to produce low emissions vehicles & make the mk7 lighter than a mk6)
Price increase
it'd probably only come with an auto box
