Radio Presets Fuzzy
« on: 26 August 2014, 17:17 »
I've noticed the last couple of days my radio station presets are all fuzzy with static. I've not changed anything for this to happen.

Played around with settings and nothing has changed at all.

Anybody any ideas?

Fuzzy as in poor reception? Has the aerial lead come loose?
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

You'll need to take the radio out. This thread shows you how to if you scroll down www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=151928.0

Suggest you will also need to check the other end of the antenna cable connections. Look at this link. Will help in taking the necessary panels off. http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=263921.0
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.
