Thanks for that. I don't have IPA/panel wipe I'm afraid. Do you think it'll be ok to apply after a good wash and dry or is it worth getting some?

Yes should be grand as long as its clean and dry

I had one of the trims replaced at the dealer today.  Looks a good job.  :cool:

Once clean I'd sit the trim on the glass and line it up.
Once lined up run some masking tape or any tape down the glass parallel to the trim so when you are fitting it for real you know exactly where its going.
You'll only get one chance to get it right.

Well after 2 weeks the new trim is now coming unstuck!  It appears to be the glue between the trim and sticky pad that fails (I assume the trim is supplied like this). Here we go again  :embarrassed:

Has anyone tried using a little Tiger Seal?

Sure that would work and not come away from the glass.  I understand its something that the dealer could/should do, but it may be more likely to get done properly by yourself with Tigerseal.
