Hi,
We've had a Pioneer DEH 4500BT car stereo installed by Halfords. Everything is working fine other than when the car (Golf TDI Bluemotion 2011 plate) goes into auto start/stop..... When the car stops the sound from the stereo carries on but when you put your clutch in and it auto starts up again the stereo cuts out for 3/4 seconds.
The chap at Halfords have tried to change the wire in the fuse box so its connected to the cigarette lighter, that still cut out during ignition... Then i just went back to today and he re-wired it to ALWAYS on (even with no key in the ignition) but again when it auto start/stops it STILL cuts out the music for 3/4 seconds.
Would be grateful of any tips / advise?
