GTD Windscreen wipers confused

Noticed on my drive home today that placing the windscreen wiper from intermittent to normal and they were on fast, moved up to last notch and what should be the fast mode and they went down to normal speed! Repeated this a few times to be sure I wasn't doing anything wrong (not like you can really) and got the same results then on about the 5th or 6th go the order was back to how I expect, intermittent, normal then fast

On a GTD there is no 'intermittant' setting - thats the 'auto' setting which might explain spome of the speed differentials you experienced?

It's unclear if you have a rain sensor or not. If so the notches/switch settings control the sensitivity of the rain sensor.

In heavy rain the wiper speed will switch to fast when required when on rain sensor...

This was experienced on the normal and fast setting not the rain sensor setting.
