Does rain still drip through the driver's door window if it's open half an inch when it's raining? Still annoys the hell out of me.

..Hello all,i'm a vw virgin but have just taken delivery of a golf tdi a couple of days ago.Today is the first time it's rained and with the window open slightly it dripped in all over the 4 buttons for the leccy windows.It may sound like a stupid question but is this a pretty isolated problem or is this type of thing taken for granted by
"DAS AUTO" owners

I don't quite follow - if a window is open and its raining, yes water will come in! If the window is shut and you have water ingress there is a problem.

Modern cars dont have 'gutters' as such so water can easily come in through open windows. Close em when its wet!

It's happened on every Golf I've ever had, and it's more noticeable in a Golf than in every other car I've ever driven! One of the "quirks"

It happened with our focus too, oddly enough it annoyed me more then than it does now in the golf
