On the subject, does anyone know how best to connect the indicators so they flash for lock/unlock from remote. Was thinking of wiring up to the hazard switch somehow but not sure.

I tapped straight on the indicated wires under steering column on mine.

I have sorted all of this now... It was a case of cross referencing diagrams of central locking from other companies.  They all seem to follow a similar layout etc.  As for the indicators I did the same as weaz, as I had a wire for each side, otherwise I probly would have gone to the hazard switch.
