Cheers Jamie :afro:

Had thought about the feed coming off the manifold to be honest, seems a hell of a lot easier!

Also thought about using those silicone taps but was worried about leaks.

Regarding DV, trying to use as much hard pipe as I can, going to use the silicone T piece and use that as a joiner, might aswell make one of the joins useful!

If I kept my mk4, I could have had rods and a GT2871r by now
if you`re using the standard n75 (on the turbo your car was tuned for) you`ll be fine.
if youre using a bleed type mbc like I am (temporary until turbo is tuned) then you`ll need a check valve to stop air being drawn into the manifold from the TIP when the throttle is closed. it causes high idle due to air being able to bypass the throttle.

Think I've got the F valve on there which was the latest revision for C? I'll check when I'm out there next.

Yeah will be using MBC to keep it 18ish.

Cheers Wes, sounds like I'll need that :afro:

stick with a ball and spring valve in parallel with the n75 and you should be fine without the check valve. I`m only using a bleed type because I bought it when I was uneducated and it caused me a few problems until I devised a few ways to correct it.

Id want to put the N75 close to turbo as possible.

Issue with it on the manifold is it then also see's vacuum from the manifold and not a true reading due to pressure drops across the intercooler etc.

the reading at the manifold is what the engine actually see`s. there are no issue`s from taking off from the manifold. and while it is under vac conditions the matter doesn't apply because you are not on boost, plus, that is what the check valve can be used for!
