Rough idle???

When ever I floor it my car will run rough for a while and when sitting in traffic it starts idling very rough anyone know what it could be? It's aum 1.8t with forge tip and milltek cat back

try cleaning the throttle body an check with vw if your car is due coil packs under the recall  :smiley:

I've tried VW for recall no luck  :sad: I think I've seen Throttle body cleaner in halfords, it sometimes hesitates and then pulls really fast does that sound like the throttle body?

Gonna give it the full works soon coil packs plugs oil clean the throttle body, then a trip down to r-tech I think  :grin:

Could also be a split breather pipe

What diverter valve are you running? Sound like when my OEM one split.

lambda can also cause this. You need a VAG COM scan to make sure

Stock dv, when I had the forge tip done they found split pipes under the manifold and changed it

My guess is split diaphragm in the DV. Either get a forge 007p or 008 or the new revision OEM 710 vag DV

Was just reading another post about it running rich if the mafs been unplugged and that the cat can get clogged up?
