Er... Don't you have to put some kinda stuff back in where the green one was? I thought it acted like a kinda diffuser for the light? It's ages since I pulled apart my mk2 clocks though... ;)

Believe it or not i know exactly what you mean, i was going to break those bits off but wasn't sure how i'd get it back together again? so did you glue it or something?

Cool i'll have a go at that when i swap them over, so is it the same kind of film they put along the top?

p.s. that film makes an excellent diffuser for the interior light, just cut off a nice sized piece and pop it into the lamp holder infront of the bulb
