Put £20 a month into a savings account and by the time you have curbed your alloy you can probably afford a refurb.

If this is anything like the JLR cover, then it's for smart repairs only ?  You may as well forget smart repairs on a diamond cut wheel in my opinion......

Worth checking .....

Yeah good point, most of these websites show the before and after pictures of a normal type alloy, nothing like the GTI wheel, might just be cheaper to teach the Mrs how to park

Would have been cheaper to have specced park assist for her, only £125

Park assist lines you up with the cars in front and behind, so if someone else is up against the curb then you'll be too!

They tried to sell it to me when I bought my Passat. I asked if it would be a smart repair, and they said it was. I would imagine that their diamond cut repair would be to use chrome paint. That's what they'd done on one of my Vancouvers on my Mk6 before I bought it anyway. There was no going back from that, so there was nothing else for it other that forking out for a new wheel.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
