Can you get the filler neck part on its own or is a case of changing the whole tank?

Would this, and your two other topics, not be better in the MK2 section?

Possibly. But, I didn't think it was specific to a mk2 section to talk about a rusty boot and a rusty fuel filler neck, if I'm wrong, then i can ask the mods to move the posts...

you could just fit a mk3 tank and pump. im sure you could find one that aint so rusty there as they are newer. and then you can also do away with under car fuel pump. very easy conversion to do.
