started up the car the other day and the furthest to the left warning light started flashing on the dash. looks like some temperature warning.?? not sure exactly what for though. it stays on flashing until i switch the engine off then start her up again (when warm it will go out)

i looked in the haynes manual but couldnt see any info in there anyone know what it is trying to tell me :undecided:

Coolant level / temperature warning light.

Check coolant level in expansion tank when engine is cold and on a flat surface.
If that's fine, it'll most likely be time for a new temp sensor.

Definitely sounds like the temp sender. It's an easy and cheap job to fix.
