boot builds

hi everyone i have a mk4 golf gti that i am slowly fixing (dual mass flywheel) :cry: and once she is all up and running i am going to be looking at putting a half decent boot build in but i have a baby so still need boot space for pram ect ect. does any one have any ideas of how i can go about this with still getting the best sound (bass) quality and what speakers to change the standers spearker for and also what is the best head unit to put in aswell

i will be greatful for any help you guys can give

Have a look on YouTube for tutorials on 'how to make a stealthbox' or similar. Or failing that you could buy one? It'll give you plenty of room for prams etc. hertz speakers are pretty good if you like a bit of bass. JL audio and focal are pretty good for a more balanced system. If you've got a 5 door you'll need 6.5" components, not sure about 3 door. Depends on your budget really, A decent head unit and good quality components will probably sound better than a cheap set and a sub. You'll also need adaptors for your door speakers, halfords usually stock them.
