noise from suspension
« on: 13 July 2013, 19:07 »
went to get a cd got back up and i had hit the curb at a fair speed, theres a very irritating "doink dong doink" noise best way to discribe lol, sounds kind of like a knock mixed with a worn lower arm bush noise. The bushes on it are fine and i cant see any play in the top mount. any ideas? trackings now also way out too. thanks

noise happens over uneven service which is almost every surface :')

Not by looking. Same with bushes.

Need to grab wheel and pull and push with force.

It can be any suspension mount on that side.

Check anti roll bar too

maybe you bent the strut? but I think if the noise is that bad it should be very easy to trace with it jacked up and running in gear. I wouldn't be driving it anyway until its had a once over.
