I have been given a coilpack that is working according to the previous owner. I don't want to switch the one I have on now to check and was searching on the net for the resistance values but couldn't find any.
I have a TEMIC FHP Elmotor (Sweden) VW part number 6N0 905 104.
If I take the coil with the plug facing me I assume the on on the far right with a one above it is the power terminal and the other two (one is in the middle and another is above the a three on the plastic housing are the outputs? I used a multimeter set to 20k Ohms and got these values
1. Pin1 (far right) to Pin3 (far left) 2.39
2.Pin 1 to middle pin 3.43
Then I tried the output pin that goes to the distributor
1. Pin 1(far right)- output pin -5.5
2. Middle pin-output pin -4.15
3. Pin 3(far left) -output pin -3.11
Just wondering if the coilpack is ok...(or at least the resistance is ok...)
Any help would greatly be appreciated...
