MK4 abs light comes on n off?

[GOLF-MK3-GTI]

as above it comes on, then sometimes goes off. then on and then off. I'm going to put it on vagcom to see which sensor is playing up.

i want to know if i replace the sensor, would i need to put it on vagcom and delete it that way, or do i just drive and it'll self check itself and the light will dis-appear. i know its like this on the MK3, But not sure on the MK4?

You will have to plug it back in and clear the fault codes.

try cleaning the connection, sensor and also the pick up rings before buying a new sensor.

Most likely its going to be abs speed sensor .. should show on vagcom mine did

Try the fuses ontop if the battery
