Would be grateful for some advice! I own a 55 plate golf gti and am looking to replace my rcd300 with a rcd510 and have been told that I will need to upgrade my can bus gateway to version L or later for it to work correctly.
Firstly,does anybody know what can bus gateway version I would be running at the moment and secondly, where I can purchase a newer version of the can bus gateway so I can avoid the battery drain issues that are so commonly mentioned!
And does anyone know of a reputable vagcom programmer in the Portsmouth area as well!?
Any advice would be gratefully received.
