APX HEAD ON AGU BLOCK

My friends Audi tt bottom ends knocking, I've agu engine in golf I'm breaking. Be ok put apx head on agu block???

It's interchangeable, are you planning to fit the vvt as well? Or keeping the agu cam chain tensioner? A lot of people are going vvt on the agu now with the use of the later wide and ecu.

It's Wreg not sure if that early has vvt!!! Will check tho will be straight swop over just his bottom ends knackered and I have this agu spare only on 90k miles with history.

O right I follow you, I thought you was looking to change the head on the agu. It was far past my bed time when I replied  :grin: ignore me lol

Yes it will bolt on fine  :cool:

It will fit but he'd be better off fitting the whole engine.  As he'd benefit from the large port head and higher CR.
03 210 Seat LCR. Badger5 V2.2TIP, Fordge 007p, Wellycooler, Quaife ATB LSD, Nuespeed ARB's, KW Clubsports, 330mm discs, 3" turbo back de cat and still on the standard map!

Apples and oranges. Some prefer higher compression some prefer lower compression, all a matter or build. Both are available in aftermarket form for the 1.8t and both came from factory.
