various electrical niggles all at th same time

Hi guys, iv been dubbin' and modding other motors for years now and would still consider myself as an amateur, (no longer a novice)

This query might sound simple and obvious, but i thought i'd run it by you lot before i go rummaging about and make the problem worse, or break smthing else.

Recently, all in a week, or even over a couple of days,
my rear fogs are on and wont go off, (also the orange light is on indicating that theyr on)
My f/n/s e/window wont go down,
My r/n/s door wont unlock when the others do, (almost evry time),
And the f/n/s side-light dosent wrk, (and hasnt the whole time i'v had her)

(Its a mk3 golf tdi estate btw. On an S-plate with vento front)

These are probly common probs, as iv had c/l & e/w issues on all my v-dubs
But can anyone shed any light please
(Havent looked at fuses yet as i thought these items probly dont share much in common)

look at fuse then earthing points, the r/n/s and fog could have a common earth, front light check for 12v at plug but with a multimeter put red lead in each terminal and black lead to a good grounding point on chassis if you get 12v then earth return from plug is fubar.
check wiring to fog is sound
