Stereo memory

Hi all just installed a sony gt222 stereo into my mk4 golf replaced it with the factory stereo (gamma) and cd unit but when I turn off the ignition the stereo looses all memory the clock goes back to 00:00 and the radio station go back to default 87.5 fm does anyone know why it does this and how I can fix it cheers for reading my post

On the wiring harness in the back of the stereo will be two push fit connectors ( red and a yellow )

Swap them over , stick a yellow in a red and a red in the yello ect , they are permanent love an ignition live.   Just Sounds like yours are the wrong way round .
