problem with speedo :s
« on: 12 November 2012, 18:08 »
Hi guys, I got in my golf after work to notice the speedo needle had dropped from the 0 to the corner of the mileage screen, when I drove it the speedo worked fine but it was obv reading a lot lower than it should because its starting at a lower point, haven't herd of this problem before but I'm hoping someone else has so they can tell me what to do :D thanks

get it onto vagcom and test the display, see if it spins as far, but then i think also you can change it with vagcom

might be a problem with your speedo sensor that sits on top of the gearbox?
Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)
