Polar FIS fitting?
« on: 24 September 2012, 16:17 »
I have searched all over the place for the fitting/costs and parts to do the this.

Anyone got some information on this?

I'd suspect it will come with full fitting instructions. It only needs a plug in point and power supply iirc.

Unless things have changed,  the Polar only comes with a split cable for connecting to the canbus gateway and the polar unit. There are no instructions sent with it but you can download it.

It's actually very easy to fit depending on where your canbus gateway is located so you should be able to fit it yourself. atm you'll have to order one from polar themselves as Richard the UK agent at Volksdiagnostics no longer deals with them.

my polar unit fitted under the dash above the pedals--but some fit on the later ones behind the ash tray
