Depends on where you go, I was at a meeting last month and one guy spent £700.00 and that was the hood alone, form Car Hoods Northern.

You can buy a mohair black top off E bay for £215.00, then you'll need HTC glue. I use wayside adhesives on e bay £19.00 a tin.
Sillicone sealant, rivets and back washers, new foam gasket seals too.
I reckon you could do a hood for around £300.00.
I have fitted a fair few of these and it's not that difficult, more time consuming than anything else.
things to look out for are the rear window frame, tell tale signs of rusting out are stains on the parcel shelf and the rubber seal deforming, so peel it back and have a look.
It's a mare if the frames gone.
Rear cable channel, these rust if your unlucky and will need repairing before you put a new one on anyway.
Take into consideration the following, not just the hood condition, but the state of the headliner and the inter liner and top pad.
If the pad is worn, you get a poor finish on whatever you put on.
Headliner needs changing at the same time if it's ripped or so badly stained it won't clean up.
YOU cannot retrofit a headliner after a new hood has gone on as all the fixings are under the inter liner and pad and the hood it's self, no matter what anyone else tells you.
You could do a hood in a day easy, with all the right tools and glues etc ready to go.
