Rear Axle Bushes

mine need replacing and want to do them myself, is there any tools on the market to remove old and fit new ones? thanks in advance

You can get tools to help you put the new bush in but for removing them alloy yourself a couple of hours and get a sharp chisell and hammer. Bit of a pig of a job

A good drill to drill out the rubber, a decent hacksaw to cut a a peice of the alloy cage out of the axle then crush the alloy together and chisel it out.
First time doing it you will take on a drive with basis tools around 3-4hours, second time would take about hour and 1/2.

I would buy polybushes to replace them as they dont need pressing in (I used the ones from PSI tuning, the bush fits in nicely and a metal sleeve crushes the bush in tight)

1.6-1.8t AGU K03s, Forge actuator, Forge 007p, turbo back exhuast, Ths front mount, Catch can, 5 piece silicone boost pipes and creation sports tip. Stage 2 atm 232bhp 270lbs. Waiting for custom mapping :-)

It is with basic tools.
Depends on the person. Iv changed nearly everything on my car on my drive mate.

i agree, get poly bushes there easier to get in, if your just going for standard bushes, a big of threaded bar a few bolts and some plate to push the bush in
